# Onlay — feedback for agents that doesn't suck

> Onlay turns your agent's HTML or Markdown into a link you can share. People comment or edit right on the page, and your agent picks it up and updates the same link.

## What it does

Your agent publishes an HTML or Markdown file to a link that never changes. People comment on the page and, if you allow it, fix the text in place. Your agent pulls that feedback, revises the file and publishes the next version to the same link, answering each comment thread as it goes.

It is one loop: **push → people comment and edit → pull → revise → push again to the same link.**

## Who it is for

Anyone whose agent makes plans, reports, specs, slide decks, dashboards or mockups that other people need to look at and react to: a team, a client, a manager, friends planning a trip.

## What readers do

They open the link in any browser. No account is needed to read or comment unless you restrict the document; a commenter is asked for a name and email once. They can:

- **Comment on words:** select a phrase and say what should change.
- **Pin a comment on anything:** a chart, a card, a slide, a number, a button.
- **Edit the text in place**, when you turn editing on: click a sentence and rewrite it.
- **Draw** on the page and **paste a screenshot** into a comment.
- **Answer a question** the page asks (a poll, a choice, a slider), when the page is built for it.

## What your agent gets back

```
onlay pull report.html
The same as JSON with `--json`. Then `onlay push report.html --resolve th_8f2k "Done: a line chart by month."` publishes version 2 to the same link and answers the thread.
